An air-cooled 4-cylinder engine capable of 44hp was employed at the rear of the boxy yet curved body. One of the most popular among the wealth of its variations was the “Samba” microbus, which had a 23-window version encircled by windows and employing a canvas roof. It accommodated 9 adults and was notable for its flat floor and twin side doors.
