When you think 4x4, you don't necessarily think French vehicles. And yet, the 504 Dangel is one of the few French 4x4s that has managed to make a name for itself!

Henry Dangel was a coachbuilder specialising in car conversions. In the 1980s, faced with the success of the Niva, Land Cruiser and other Land Rovers, he decided to develop a French model.

To do so, he took on a Peugeot 504 estate and presented his project to Peugeot in 1978. The Sochaux-based manufacturer quickly gave the go-ahead, and the production model arrived in 1981!

Only available as a station wagon, this 4x4 was soon available as a pick-up to meet the needs of professionals.

The 504 Dangel was a success, thanks to its accessibility, its French styling and its participation in rally-raids such as the Paris-Dakar.

Manufactured by Otto this Resin Model Car is 1/18th Scale.
