1/14 Scale Tractor Truck - Assembly Kit

This is a colour variation of Item 56362 1/14 R/C Volvo FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 Tow Truck. This model is great for those without the time or confidence to apply a paint job to their kit, as the cab and other parts are pre-painted in TS-17 Gloss Aluminium, with a urethane clear top coating for a high-quality finish.

• This is a 1/14 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 732mm, width: 199mm, height: 309mm
• The highly realistic cab, plus H, M, DD, HH, LL, MM, and NN parts are moulded in grey and pre-painted
• TS-17 Gloss Aluminium, with a urethane top coating.

Tamiya’s series of ultra-realistic 1/14 scale R/C trucks has offered fun and realistic driving for the past several decades! This new kit takes that driving fun to the next level with this tow truck, which makes its living towing heavy duty vehicles such as semi-tractor trucks. It promises a completely different element of enjoyment to predecessors in the series.

1) Visor and roof lights are metal plated components for that extra touch. Escape hatch, antenna and so on are recreated in style.

2) Opening doors on the body give a realistic look, and also allow access to install separately sold MFC and Actuator units.

3) This is a close-up on the rear suspension, where a trunnion setup is employed using metal leaf springs and friction dampers.

1) Boom length and angle can be adjusted, the former up to an impressive 586mm long. The latter gives three different angles.

2) The underlift can be extended and retracted, and features adjustable forks. It turns on a joint to enable smooth cornering.

3) Dual rear tyres provide a sturdy base for the vehicle, and also are given realistic tread pattern.

The kit seen here recreates the FH16 that is marketed by Volvo, a renowned manufacture in the global commercial vehicle market. The FH Series includes a 750hp 16.1-litre turbocharged inline-6 engine FH16 Globetrotter 750 8x4 tow truck.

• Headlights and taillights can be lit up with separately sold LEDs, and the model is compatible with Item 56523 Tractor Truck Multi-Function Control Unit "Euro-Style" (MFC-03).
• Compatible TROP truck option parts: 56523, 56531, 56538, 56548, 56549, 56550, 56551, 56553.
• Requires: 4-Channel R/C system, ESC, 7.2volt battery and compatible charger, and Tamiya TS and acrylic paints.
