The original Hornet stands as one of Tamiya's most popular R/C cars ever released, helping launch a 2WD R/C buggy boom worldwide. Featuring excellent performance on both dirt and on-road tracks, this awesome buggy can take on any type of terrain. Just like the original, this re-release features an easy to assemble chassis and drivetrain consisting of a durable but lightweight ABS resin bathtub frame, diff gear loaded sealed gearbox, oil filled rear dampers, powerful RS 540 motor and high performance suspension system.

The Hornet is perfect for those that used to have one, those that have always wanted one, and for those that want a revolutionary buggy that has earned its place in R/C history.

The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the original release of the iconic Hornet off-road buggy! To celebrate the milestone, Tamiya’s designers have cooked up a fun variant that is sure to please new hobbyists and veteran hobbyists alike!

About the Hornet EVO
This R/C model assembly kit is an updated version of The Hornet, the original of which was first released in 1984. Length: 430mm, width: 230mm, height: 135mm. The kit largely keeps the original Hornet’s bathtub frame and pairs it with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and oil dampers. It also has a sealed rear gearbox for excellent off-road dust proofing with a built-in 3-bevel differential gear for smooth cornering. Three-piece assembly wheels are paired with front ribbed and rear high-grip spike tires. Decorate the lightweight and durable polycarbonate body with the included stickers that cover the orange and yellow colour scheme, logos and car numbers.

• 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit.
• The 0.7mm thick polycarbonate body has the same shape as the classic body from the original Hornet.
• The 2WD chassis has the same bathtub frame as the one used in the original Hornet. (Item 58336)
• While the colour scheme of the original Hornet is carried over, this kit features an updated sticker design.
• Includes 540 Brushed motor and ESC.
