1/10 Scale 2WD

One of our iconic R/C models, the Lunch Box has been loved for a long time, and its fans have enjoyed their own customization.

Now, we are delighted to announce the release of the Lunch Box EVO. with features such as updated suspension, and longer tread and wheelbase. While the comical characteristics such as wheelie performance are of course inherited, why not check how the Lunch Box is updated?

Differences between the original and the EVO. Edition

Features:

• This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 390mm, width: 295mm, height: 220mm. Wheelbase: 217mm. Tread: 228mm
• The body is the same as the one used in Item 58347
• Tread and wheelbase are 10mm longer respectively compared to those of Item 58347 to improve traction and controllability
• Updated suspension features front double wishbones and a rear 3-link setup with rigid axles for stable performance
• The steering arm is added at front and stabiliser is at rear, and steering tie-rods are identical length
• Strut bar is added at front to enhance chassis rigidity and to give the model a customised image
• This strut bar works as a transponder mount
• 7mm lower body mount gives a lower centre of gravity, which helps stable control.
• Body is securely mounted by eight screws
• Features full ball bearings
• Hex wheel hubs are included. Use with 950 ball bearings (sold separately) and modify wheel attachment hole sizes to allow attachment of wheels with hex hubs at front and rear
• While the basic design of the Lunch Box is carried over, this kit features an updated sticker design

Lunch Box OG 5834

This R/C assembly kit recreates a fun and boxy classic VAN with over-sized monster truck tyres.

It is one of Tamiya's classic creations from the 1980s (first released in 1987). It has been a fan favourite for its original appearance as much as for its R/C performance. The boxy minivan body has been raised up over monster truck wheels to ensure that this R/C van will grab attention wherever you choose to drive it.

2WD Chassis Mounted on Big 115mm Diameter Tyres

The durable and easy-to-assemble 2WD chassis employs a box type frame, and features front independent swingarms and a rear rolling rigid suspension. Big 115mm diameter tyres offer dynamic running on even the toughest of surfaces. A sealed gearbox protects the diff gear from dirt and sand during off-road driving. Rear mounted wheelie bar enables wild stunt driving.

Lunch Box Black Edition 58546

The popular Lunch Box model from Tamiya's catalogue makes a comeback in stylish black. This R/C assembly kit features the trademark boxy minivan body with metal-plated fenders, front grille and dampers, and includes a sticker set to add the finishing touches.

All this is raised up over monster truck wheels cased in 115mm tyres for a cool number that you can take for a spin any time, anywhere.
